The letter aligns with both SIOP’s advocacy mission to ensure I-O psychology research and practice are considered in the development of federal policies and the Society’s commitment to support our members impacted by the partial shutdown. President Trump has since agreed to negotiate a short-term reopening of the federal government to enable discussions on a larger border security and immigration compromise.
