The SIOP Foundation has released its 2017-2018 Annual Report. Read about what the Foundation has accomplished this year and learn how you can join the growing list of contributors here!

In the report, President Milton Hakel emphasizes, "I-O psychologists have supported and encouraged each other’s work ever since our field arose over a century ago. Foundation donors now support I-O with endowments and term gifts that fund grants, scholarships, and awards. You will see in the pages of this report how over 2 decades of contributions translate into advancing our applied organizational science."

SIOP Visibility Committee Wants Your Input

SIOP’s Visibility Committee wants to know your opinion about the Top 10 Workplace Trends for 2019. “Voting” in the second round of the survey will end on December 11, 2018.

Amanda Woller, chair of the Media Subcommittee, said, “The Top 10 Workplace Trends survey is a great opportunity for members of the I-O community to share their insights about the anticipated direction of the business world in the new year.”

Balloting Closes January 1, 2019

At its September meeting, the SIOP Executive Board approved a bylaws amendment shortening the timeframe for votes on matters that come before the Board.

The current bylaws provide for 30 days for the Emergency Action Committee (a subset of the Executive Board) or the full Board to vote on proposals electronically. Yet, the pace of technology and decision making has advanced, and so should SIOP.
