What sparked your interest in I-O psychology?
I began studying child psychology as an undergrad, and my various experiences in corporate led me to pursue I-O Psychology. It is a fascinating discipline that evolves each day. As a systems thinker and lifelong behavioral science geek, I love how our field advances in ways we never imagined, such as the link between neuroscience, behavioral science, and cultural intelligence.

What role do you see I-O psychology playing in the future of work?
I-O Psychology is at the foundation of the future of work mainly because of all the environmental shifts and emerging trends.

Which of the Top 10 Work Trends for 2023 do you most strongly relate to and how can I-O psychology practitioners, educators, and students impact this trend?
The employee experience journey continues to be an important topic given the diverse range of groups in today's workplace - from five generations with distinct motivation and belonging needs to a tech-driven world that requires continual upskilling and reskilling. As the field evolves faster than ever, hybrid working models are also set to become increasingly commonplace, adding a further layer of complexity to the motivational sciences. We must keep learning, innovating, adapting, reiterating, and measuring our work to stay ahead of the curve. How can we leverage technology to create disruptive change for today's and tomorrow's workplace?

What advice would you give to students or early practitioners?
I encourage you to stay curious and relentlessly seek innovative ways to advance the practice for the next generation. Don't underestimate your power to make a difference in our industry. Always remember to pave the way forward for the next generation of practitioners.

My love for boxing. I could box all day, every day.

Thank you to SIOP for advancing research on our behalf! I recently launched Cultura, Inc., whose mission is to educate 1 million people in five years, and I wrote my first book, intended for anyone who wants to be part of the change and understand different cultures better.
