Preconference Workshops Offer Unique Professional Development

Spots are filling up for the 11 workshops being offered prior to the 2023 SIOP Annual Conference. Each workshop offers a unique, in-depth professional development opportunity to learn from premier experts in the field while networking with peers, all at a very reasonable price.

The 10 in-person workshops will be held Wednesday, April 19. They will not be recorded or livestreamed. The one online workshop will be held Friday, March 31.

Workshops topics include:

  • The new hybrid workplace
  • Critical I-O psychology findings from the past several years
  • R, the dominant tool for statistical analysis
  • Talent management measurement
  • I-O’s role in the future of work and talent needs
  • Coaching
  • Organizational culture
  • Partnership across business settings
  • Assessment strategy
  • Developing marginalized talent
  • Building a comprehensive listening strategy

Registration for each workshop is capped at 45 attendees to ensure an intimate setting, so we encourage you to register early before they fill up. Registration is done via the online conference registration process on a first-come, first-served basis. You can add a preconference workshop to your registration at any time by returning to the registration form.

Details about each workshop can be found on the workshop webpage and on the conference registration webpage.
