The SIOP Career and Professional Development for Practitioners Committee is once again offering Speed Benchmarking and Speed Mentoring as part of the SIOP Annual Conference.

Want to dig deep on I-O topics with expert practitioners? Need advice and recommendations from those who have been there and done that? Registration for these free online events closes March 24, 2023.

Speed Benchmarking – Wednesday, April 12, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. ET via Zoom

  • Open to mid- to late-career I-O psychologists with 5+ years of full-time experience
  • Designed to build connections and ignite conversations between experienced I-O practitioners working in similar areas of the field
  • You will be placed into a small group of mid- to late-career professionals who share a common set of interests and expertise. A facilitator will lead a brief benchmarking discussion where participants will be invited to share innovative practices and solutions to common challenges.

Speed Mentoring – Thursday, April 13, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. ET via Zoom

  • Open to early-career practitioners who have graduated from their graduate programs and have fewer than 5 years of applied experience
  • Includes two 30-minute, small-group discussions
  • Provides an opportunity to ask questions about career development, learn tips on navigating common challenges in talent management, and build connections with colleagues in the SIOP community
