Amber Stark / Wednesday, October 14, 2020 / Categories: Member News, Items of Interest, SIOP Source Nominate the Next TIP and IOP Editors SIOP is soliciting nominations for the editors of The Industrial-Organizational Psychologist (TIP) and Industrial and Organizational Psychology: Perspectives on Science and Practice (IOP). TIP nominations are due Oct. 15. Editors must be a SIOP Fellow or Member. Any SIOP Fellow or Member can nominate for the editorship. Self-nominations are also welcome. TIP provides news, reports, and noncommercial information related to the practice, science, and teaching of I-O psychology. It is to SIOP what the APA Monitor is to APA. TIP publishes four issues per year (Jan., April, July, Oct.). The new editor will be selected by the Communications Portfolio Officer and approved by the Executive Board in January 2021. The new editor-in-training would begin training for the role by shadowing the current editor for four issues prior to becoming editor in February 2022. Nominations are due Oct. 15. IOP is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal published by Cambridge University Press on behalf of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology. The new IOP editor will be selected by the Publications Board and approved by the Executive Board in March 2021. The new editor-in-training would begin working with the current editor beginning March 2021, and assumes duty beginning Sept. 1, 2021. The term of the position is 3 years.
