SIOP Communications

SIOP Marketing and Communications

The SIOP Administrative Office strives to communicate important member news in a convenient and timely fashion. Below is a general overview of current initiatives.

Story Tips

The SIOP Administrative Office appreciates the submission of content and story ideas for all of our communication channels. If you have a story idea for the website, social media, Source, or media distribution, please fill out the following form. Think about stories you would like to read as you submit ideas – are you or a colleague doing interesting work or research, do you know of a member exploring a new or relevant I-O topic, etc.

Please submit your story ideas at least 3 weeks before you’d like to see coverage whenever possible. Several factors, including time of year, can impact AO response and turnaround time. Please note, Source space is often planned out a month in advance.

Source

This weekly member newsletter serves as a timely, relevant source of information current members need to know to make the most of their SIOP membership. Articles feature information about Membership, Research and Publications, Events and Education, the SIOP Annual Conference, Advocacy, and Diversity and Inclusion. Specifically, content highlights members and their work, informs members about grant and award opportunities, and invites conversation. Articles are intended to be quick reads with clear benefits or calls to action. Although the Source includes industry news to round out content and link members to relevant external opportunities and news stories featuring SIOP members, the primary focus of this newsletter is SIOP news for members.
