New Conference Award for 2025

SIOP is thrilled to introduce the inaugural LGBTQIA+ Trailblazer Award, celebrating an extraordinary leader who has made a groundbreaking impact on research or practice related to LGBTQIA+ issues in industrial-organizational psychology. This prestigious award recognizes a visionary whose unwavering dedication has transformed workplace experiences, championed inclusivity, and driven meaningful advocacy for LGBTQIA+ individuals within organizational settings. Join us in celebrating those who have pioneered change and set a new standard for excellence in our field and consider nominating yourself or a colleague today! 

This is a brand new SIOP Conference award spearheaded by SIOP LGBTQIA+ Committee and 2024-2025 Committee Chair Dr. David Arena.

Applications are open through Friday, January 31, 2025. Apply via this online form!

To be eligible you must be a paid SIOP member (Affiliate and Student members are ineligible to receive this award but can nominate a worthy SIOP member), share contributions to policy or practice that enhance inclusivity or success for LGBTQIA+ individuals in organizational settings, and demonstrate leadership in driving the field of I-O psychology through work and partnership with research or practice focused on LGBTQIA+ issues.
