Seeking Social Media Editor for HRM

Human Resource Management is looking to add to our editorial team. We are seeking an individual with knowledge of social media, who will work closely with authors, editors, and publisher to establish and manage a dedicated social media presence for the journal.

What are we looking for?

Ideal candidates will be scholars who are keen to help bring HRM to a global community of academics and practitioners and utilize their knowledge of social media to establish and develop dedicated HRM social media accounts.  

To receive serious consideration, applicants should have the following qualities:

  • Knowledge of a range of social media outlets, with Twitter being essential.
  • An understanding of how to produce effective social media content to drive engagement and generate a social media following among both academic and practitioner audiences.
  • Able to work with the Human Resource Management community to build both academic and practitioner audiences.
  • The ability to assist authors in translating the implications of their findings for a practitioner audience.
  • Experience developing video and audio content in partnership with the Publisher.
  • Able to work constructively with authors, editors, and the publisher.
  • A proactive and consistent approach to the role with good time management.
