The Affiliate Membership Category Is Now Available

Does your professional circle include human resource professionals, management consultants, or others doing work that interacts with or is a consumer of I-O psychology? Do you have colleagues whose work is related to improving worker wellbeing and the quality of the work experience? If so, SIOP's new Affiliate membership type may be for them!

SIOP is expanding membership to those without industrial-organizational psychology graduate degrees to welcome people with an interest in I-O psychology and the work of SIOP and as a way for all SIOP members to learn from other practicing professionals’ unique experiences and perspectives.

“Learning from others is an opportunity we should not overlook,” said SIOP Membership Committee Chair Michelle Goro. “The world is growing in many directions at once, and there is no longer one expected path to where you want to end up. We are excited to welcome Affiliates who are similarly passionate about bettering our work practices through science.”
