I appreciate the wealth of resources that is available to Affiliate members. Much of the SIOP resources are pertinent to the evolving and pressing issues in the workplace. You don't need to be a I-O psychologist to benefit or contribute the SIOP community. There is a space for everyone.

As an HR leader working with leading tech companies, I like to know what the leading-edge Organizational Psychology is as it will help my practice.  I love the conferences and feel like I walk amongst my tribe. It’s always a ‘shot in the arm’ that enables me to go back to work enlightened and engaged.

It is great to be able to be an Affiliate member as I am not a graduate student, nor have I obtained my post-graduate degree in I-O yet being able to access member-only information on the site is very beneficial in my role.

SIOP provides an opportunity to network and stay up to date with regards to the latest workplace trends and research. As with I-O psychology, the organization is very diverse and provides valuable information for anyone who is looking to expand their knowledge, experiences, and involvement in the community.

SIOP is a reputable and trustable source of information. You get to open your horizons, even if you are not a practitioner in I-O. You get to meet people and hear their research and point of views that can help you achieve your goals.
