Amber Stark / Thursday, September 24, 2020 / Categories: Calls and Announcements, Announcements Register to be a Potential Reviewer for the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program NSF welcomes scientists and engineers to evaluate the current Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) competition's applications each year during the annual GRFP review process. GRFP recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students pursuing research-based masters and doctoral degrees in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) and STEM Education at accredited, non-profit US institutions of higher education. GRFP applications are reviewed by disciplinary panels composed of researchers and educators from a wide range of institutions, geographic locations, and disciplinary and interdisciplinary backgrounds, who read a selection of applications in their discipline(s) and evaluate them based on the Merit Review Criteria of Intellectual Merit and Broader Impacts, as described in the 2021 GRF Program Solicitation. Serving as a GRFP Reviewer is an excellent opportunity to apply research and career expertise to help identify future science and engineering leaders. It is also a great opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge of the GRFP review process and receive valuable perspective of the NSF Merit Review process.
