SIOP Member Registries Offer Opportunities to Gain Visibility, Make Connections

SIOP Member Registries are a great way for SIOP professional members to gain visibility and make connections based on areas of interest or expertise. They also serve as a way for SIOP to identify experts in a topic for articles or as a media resource. SIOP members may participate in the following four registries:

  • Health, Safety, and Well-Being
Health, safety, and well-being in the workplace affect many outcomes of interest to companies such as employee productivity, turnover, and absenteeism. Research suggests that these outcomes can be addressed through various types of employee wellness programs and training that improves employee well-being in general.
  • Cybersecurity
This registry allows SIOP members, members of the media, organizations, policy makers, and other relevant parties to easily identify and contact international I-O psychologists with knowledge, experience, and interest in cybersecurity for research projects, when preparing advocacy statements, and more.
  • Corporate Social Responsibility and Pro-Social/Humanitarian I-O Psychology
This registry allows SIOP members, members of the media, organizations, policy makers, and other relevant parties to easily identify and contact those with knowledge, experience, and interest in CSR, HWP, and pro-social I-O.
  • Advocacy
Advocating for the science and practice of I-O psychology to political, economic, and social stakeholders around the world is critical for raising awareness of the value of I-O psychology. This registry provides a centralized source for information about SIOP professionals who have experience with and interest in contributing to advocacy efforts.
