This honor is bestowed on SIOP Members who have made meaningful, sustained, and unusual contributions to the field and who have at least 10 years of professional membership in SIOP, including the previous 2 consecutive years. If that describes one of your heroes, mentors, or role models, and you are a Member or Fellow, please consider nominating them for this prestigious honor. SIOP recognizes that outstanding contributions to the profession may come from all areas of I-O psychology and represent the range of practice, research, teaching, administration, and service in the variety of settings in which industrial-organizational psychologists work. The common criterion in every case is “demonstrated outstanding contribution.” Fellowship is recognition by one’s peers for that contribution. The SIOP Fellowship Committee is accepting nominations until November 1, 2019. A Fellow nomination requires at least three endorsers, and that can take some time to coordinate, so please allow enough time to follow the nomination process as outlined on the SIOP Fellowship page. A nomination for SIOP Fellowship requires thoughtful effort and is therefore a meaningful honor to bestow on another member. After review, the Fellowship Committee will make its recommendations to the SIOP Executive Board. New Fellows will be announced at the 2020 SIOP Annual Conference in Austin, Texas. Detailed procedures for nominating SIOP Fellows, along with information on the Fellowship process, members of the committee, and process guidelines, are available on the SIOP Fellowship page.
