Amber Stark / Tuesday, October 15, 2024 / Categories: Member News, Items of Interest, SIOP Source New TIP Available A new issue of The Industrial-Organizational Psychologist (TIP) is now available on the SIOP website. This issue presents the columns you read every issue (The Editor’s Column, The President’s Column, Max. Classroom Capacity) but also has some new and different features. Alaina C. Keim and Jean M. Lamont of Bellarmine University bring us an article titled “Organizational Trust Leads to Positive Employee and Organizational Outcomes,” which focuses on psychologically healthy workplaces and the Practices for the Achievement of Total Health (PATH) model. Also included this month are articles on the SIOP Leading Edge Consortium, SIOP staff responsibilities, new preconference Research Community Forums, and new special interests groups (coming soon!). In addition, we have updates from the History Committee as well as updates from APA and the Alliance. Sadly, we also present the obituary of Dr. Julia Levashina. Another feature of this issue is Timeless TIP. Timeless TIP is a way to spotlight and reflect on past columns and articles from the archives and help them reach the eyes of newer TIP readers. Four articles are presented this issue: Opening Up from winter 2020, Academic's Forum from fall 2017, TIP-TOPics from fall 2019, and Practice-Science Partnership from spring 2020. We hope you enjoy all of these articles. If you have an idea for an article or a special feature for TIP, email Editor Adriane M. F. Sanders at siop.tip.editor@gmail.com.
