Jenny Baker / Friday, October 4, 2024 / Categories: 622 Meet the SIOP Staff It takes a professional and dedicated staff to keep the members of SIOP connected and the day-to-day workings of the Society moving forward. SIOP has 13 dedicated professionals, and you can read their professional bios at https://0-www-siop-org.library.alliant.edu/About-SIOP/Staff. Staff members handle everything from member questions to technology issues. They assist with committee programs and Executive Board initiatives, including the strategic plan. The annual conference and Leading Edge Consortium logistics are predominantly handled by these highly trained and experienced professionals, who also provide the on-site coordination at these events. In addition, most of the staff members act as staff liaisons to the more than forty (40) SIOP committees, ad hoc groups, and Executive Board. This system allows those committee chairs to have a dedicated person to contact when they need resources or information. The staff liaison also keeps the staff informed of committee goals and activities without having to keep in direct contact with all the chairs and volunteers. Below is the list of staff names, titles, and associated committees. Though all work from home, you can reach them at 419-353-0032.
