Call for Papers: Special Issue on "Employee Green Behavior as the Core of Organizational Environmental Sustainability"

Dear Colleagues,

We are excited to announce a Call for Papers for a Special Issue in the Journal of Organizational Effectiveness: People and Performance. The Special Issue will focus on “Employee Green Behavior as the Core of Organizational Environmental Sustainability: Antecedents and Consequences.”

We invite submissions that explore under-researched questions on the antecedents and consequences of employee green behavior across multiple conceptual levels, including the individual, team, organizational, and societal contexts.

We are particularly interested in innovative research on topics such as:

  • High-impact employee green behaviors and their effects
  • Team processes that enhance employee green behavior
  • Organizational strategies to promote employee green behavior
  • Cultural and legislative influences on employee green behavior
  • To gain a comprehensive and interdisciplinary perspective on employee green behavior, we encourage submissions from scholars across diverse fields, including psychology, economics, management, communication science, and public administration.

Key Dates:

  • Manuscript Submission Opens: January 15, 2025
  • Manuscript Submission Closes: June 1, 2025
