Register Now for the Early Career Practitioner Consortium

The SIOP Consortia Committee has once again developed four exciting consortia as part of the 2024 SIOP Annual Conference. In this article, we will highlight the Early Career Practitioner Consortium, which will enable I-O professionals with fewer than 5 years in their career to meet a mentor, broaden their I-O practitioner network, and focus on their development.

Specifically, the 2024 Early Career Practitioner Consortium will offer opportunities for attendees to:

  • Gain insight into your unique strengths and opportunities for improvement via industry-leading assessments
  • Learn from distinguished I-O psychology professionals and executives
  • Receive coaching to support you in navigating work challenges and taking the next steps in your career
  • Build relationships with fellow early career practitioners as you work in groups to develop new skills
  • Enhance connections with the SIOP community and broaden your general I-O psychology network as you interact with other consortia attendees

The consortium will take place from 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. CT Wednesday, April 17, in Chicago. The deadline to register for this consortium is March 20. A virtual orientation session will be held ahead of the in-person consortium at 1 p.m. CT March 25. This session will be recorded and distributed for those unavailable to attend live.

Visit the Consortia webpage for more information, including a list of speakers.

We highlighted the Master’s Consortium and the Doctoral Consortium in previous issues of the Source and will highlight the Early Career Faculty Consortium in an upcoming issue. You can learn more about all four consortia on the Consortia webpage.
