Biennial Conference of the International Test Commission (ITC)

Dear SIOP members:

 I would like to make sure you know about the biennial conference of the International Test Commission (ITC), which will take place July 2-5 in Granada Spain.  You can view the conference website here: https://www.itc2024granada.com/, which includes a link to the call for proposals that are due on December 16, although it is likely the deadline may be extended a few weeks.  The ITC conference will connect psychologists, measurement specialists, testing practitioners, researchers, and graduate students across the globe to discuss current research and practices in organizational, educational, and psychological testing broadly defined.  In addition to the biennial conference, the ITC also develops and publishes open-source guidelines to improve testing practices (see https://www.intestcom.org/page/28), perhaps the most popular of which are the Guidelines for Translating and Adapting Tests.  I believe the content and networking opportunities of the conference will be important for both student, faculty, researchers, and practitioners working in testing and assessment. I hope to see many of you in Granada this July!
