2023 AOM Fellows Announced, SIOP Member Recognized

The Academy of Management (AOM) recently inducted 10 members into its Fellows Group, which recognizes and honors AOM members who have made significant contributions to the science and practice of management. One of this year’s inductees is a current SIOP Member.

Congratulations to Noshir Contractor, the Jane S. & William J. White Professor of Behavioral Sciences in the McCormick School of Engineering & Applied Science, the School of Communication, and the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

As director of the Science of Networks in Communities (SONIC) research group, Contractor investigates how social and knowledge networks form – and perform – in various contexts, including business enterprises, scientific communities, global health, and space travel.

The AOM Fellows Group also provides opportunities for community and a forum for discussion among those who have been recognized. Four SIOP members were inducted in 2022 and eight SIOP members were inducted in 2021.
