Registration is Now Open for Workplace Mistreatment: Science and Solutions

Workplace mistreatment increases depression, anxiety, burnout, low self-esteem, low life satisfaction, and psychological distress, and decreases work productivity. In a recent meta-analysis, researchers reported that an average of 34% of employees experience workplace mistreatment, and 44% of employees witness mistreatment. Not only is this emotionally taxing on employees, but it is also costly to organizations.

In the next event in the SIOP Work Smart Series, Shannon Taylor and Kimberly Young-McLear will discuss bullying in the workplace and what I-O psychology professionals can do when it occurs. Workplace Mistreatment: Science and Solutions will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. ET Wednesday, May 24.

Attendees will leave this workshop with:

  • More awareness of how workplace mistreatment causes harm
  • Knowledge on meaningful actions that shift cultures so that incivility is no longer tolerated and perpetuated
  • A network of professional who share their commitment to promoting the dignity and well-being of all employees

Register now to take the first step to creating a culture of well-being within your organization.
