The session was moderated by Dr. Reeshad Dalal, professor at George Mason University, and featured Dr. Marino Mugayar-Baldocchi, research scientist at McKinsey & Company and author of highly influential research, The Great Attrition or the Great Attraction: The Choice is Yours. Marino shared data on the realities of the Great R including the mismatch between factors that employees find important and what employers think is important. Post session evaluations indicate that 96% of participants agreed or strongly agreed the speakers created an opening and welcoming environment that supported their learning. Perhaps the comments of one of the participants summarize the June 7 session best: “Overall, this session was informative and useful.
