Friday Seminars Dive into Latest I-O Topics

The 2022 Friday Seminars organizers have designed an exciting line-up of programming to give participants an opportunity to dive into the latest I-O psychology-related topics and learn more from scholars and practitioners in the field.

Five interactive sessions—one virtual, one hybrid, and three in person—will be offered on April 29 during the 2022 SIOP Annual Conference.

This year’s lineup includes:

  • Inclusive Leadership Training: Uber’s Approach to Balancing Science and Practice
  • Practical Applications of Machine Learning in I-O Psychology
  • Designing an Optimal Remote Work Strategy: Challenges & Opportunities
  • #TheGreatReckoning: Remote Working Experience of Minoritized Employees
  • Building & Managing a Machine Learning Practice in Your Organization

Learn more about each seminar on the Friday Seminars webpage.

Whichever seminar you choose to attend, here are a few things to keep in mind:

  • All sessions are 3 hours in length, with short breaks incorporated into the sessions.
  • All seminars are interactive, regardless of which format you choose. You’ll be able to interact with not only the presenters but also the other attendees, so it’s a great opportunity to network.
  • Registration is capped at 50 to facilitate intimate, small-group discussions.
  • Participants can receive continuing education credits. Please check back for more information.

You can sign up for the Friday Seminars when you register for the conference.
