SIOP Partners With CARMA for Professional Development

SIOP is excited to announce a partnership with the Consortium for the Advancement of Research Methods and Analysis (CARMA) that offers I-O psychology-related content and even discounted courses to affiliate members.

CARMA, a division of Texas Tech University, is an interdisciplinary consortium devoted to helping faculty, graduate students, and professionals learn of current developments in various areas of research methods and statistics. Program offerings include access to Introductory Research Methods and Analysis Webcast Lectures, CARMA Live Events, CARMA Classic Webcast Lectures, CARMA Live Online Short Courses, and the CARMA-SIOP Affiliate Program Collection and Live Events.

“This partnership with CARMA will greatly expand the educational content that SIOP members have access to,” said Dr. James Grand, Open Science and Practice Committee Chair. “These programs will provide excellent opportunities for SIOP members of all levels to learn new skills, stay current on emerging methodologies and analyses, and contribute to the rigor of our science. I'm thankful to the leadership of both CARMA and SIOP for investing in these resources and am excited to see our members take advantage of them in the years to come.”

More details about the program benefits can be found here. Click here to create your CARMA affiliate account.
