5 Macro Human Capital Trends Impacting the Workplace Today

Register now for “5 Macro Human Capital Trends Impacting the Workplace Today,” the first offering in the new SIOP Work Smart Series: Content + Connection.

The session, which features well-known psychologist, writer, and innovator Dr. Tomas Chamorro-Premuzic, will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. ET Nov. 18.

The workplace is experiencing a period of major turbulence. It can be challenging to see the big picture and identify where and how we can have the most impact as I-O psychologists and leaders in talent management. The purpose of this session is to consider the macro trends and their strategic implications.

This highly interactive session will focus on 5 major trends impacting the workplace (and I-O psychologists) today: (a) crisis leadership/leadership in crisis; (b) the never-ending rise of DEIB; (c) wellness, health, and well-being; (d) making hybrid work, work; and 5) humanizing work in the age of AI.

Register here.

We encourage all SIOP members to invite nonmember colleagues to attend this and future Work Smart sessions. It is a great way to promote the value of I-O psychology! For the November session, nonmembers will be offered member level pricing by using the following promo code: 21NovVwS.

In the coming months, we will also be identifying what you, your colleagues, and your organizations will find most helpful in navigating the new world of work. Help us set a relevant agenda by participating in an interview or focus group to help us select topics for 2022. This is a great opportunity to interact with fellow-SIOP members and discuss how we can contribute to a Smarter Workplace and what knowledge and capabilities we need to do so.
