Content + Connection: A Learning Series on Science for a Smarter Workplace

Submitted by the SIOP Virtual Learning Team

We are pleased to announce the launch of the SIOP Work Smart Series: Content + Connection. This new offering will provide virtual learning programs with exceptional content and opportunities for meaningful, memorable interaction. The series is also intended to increase the visibility of industrial and organizational psychology and will be open to both SIOP members and nonmembers.

The first session – 5 Macro Human Capital Trends Impacting the Workplace Today – will feature well-known psychologist, writer, and innovator Dr. Tomas Chamorro-Premuzic. Mark your calendar for November 18, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. ET. This will be a perfect opportunity to start preparing for 2022. Space will be limited, so watch for additional details!

We strongly encourage you to be SIOP ambassadors by inviting nonmember colleagues to this and future sessions. For the November session, we will even be offering SIOP member level pricing to nonmembers you invite!

The world of work is in a period of rapid change and as I-O psychologists we have much to offer for creating a smarter workplace. In the coming months, we will also be identifying what you, your colleagues, and your organizations will find most helpful in navigating the new world of work. If you would like to 1) participate in an interview or focus group to help us select topics for 2022, and/or 2) recommend a thought leader (including yourself) to present, please reach out to a member of the Virtual Learning Team.

There is no better time to leverage the science of I-O psychology to make a difference! We hope you join us for [GREAT] Content + [FUN] Connection!
