The Call for Proposals for #SIOP20 is Open

Deadline to Submit on September 11, 2019

Online proposal submission for the 2020 SIOP Annual Conference, April 23-25 at the JW Marriott in Austin, Texas, is now open! The submission deadline is Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 5:00 pm Eastern Daylight Time. No exceptions will be made for late submissions. SIOP members have already received an email notifying them of the call. Didn’t get the email? Please make sure to update your SIOP profile.

We encourage submissions for alternative session types, debates, and 50-minute sessions for SIOP 2020. In addition, we ask those submitting posters to consider participating in a study at the conference designed to test the effectiveness of an alternative poster format. You can indicate your willingness to be contacted with further information about the study during the online submission process.

Because of privacy and data use updates, all participants in a submission must create an account on siop.org. Nonmembers of SIOP also need to have an account (this is separate from the process of applying for membership). In creating an account, individuals must provide their contact information and affiliation, and read and accept the privacy policy and terms of use.

The Call for Proposals for SIOP 2020 has been streamlined to improve ease of use. We hope this improves your experience in preparing a proposal and look forward to any constructive feedback you may have.

Visit the call for proposals webpage for detailed information on key dates, conference information, eligibility, session types, proposal formatting, and the online submission process.

Questions and comments can be directed to the SIOP Administrative Office at (419) 353-0032 or SIOP Program Chair Elizabeth McCune at program@siop.org.

We are excited for you to be part of #SIOP20!
