Hellbender Brewing Company

Made fresh with a Belgian-made mash filter, the Hellbender Brewing Company brews beers using less water, grain, and energy to reduce their impact on the planet.

The brewery says the mash filter is super efficient. "A normal brew system will extract 70%-80% of the starches from the grain. The mash filter will extract 98%, thereby needing on average 15% less grain, 20% less energy and 30% less water to make the same amount of beer!"

DC Brau Brewing Company

When DC Brau Brewing Company opened in 2011, the brewery became the first packaging brewery inside the District of Columbia since 1956, blending North American and European techniques and ingredients.

This award-winning brewery's signature brews include The Public (Pale Ale), The Corruption (IPA), and The Citizen (Belgian-style Ale) but with 26 beers, there's something for everyone.

The tour takes place Wednesday April 3, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.  The cost is $89. A soft pretzel snack is included in the tour.  The schedule is as follows:

     2:00 p.m.: Pickup at the Gaylord National
     2:30 p.m.: Hellbender Brewing Company
     3:45 p.m.: DC Brau Brewing Company
     5:15 p.m.: Return to the Gaylord National
