The SIOP Consortia Committee is pleased to offer four exciting consortia programs as part of the 2025 SIOP Annual Conference. The Early Career Faculty Consortium (ECFC) is designed for junior faculty in I-O psychology or OB/HR programs (e.g., postdocs, pretenure faculty). The consortium is also appropriate for graduate students who have accepted their first academic position. Attendees will participate in career-focused activities and sessions including panels on teaching and research, as well as navigating tenure, promotion, and marketability.
This program will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2, in Denver. Lunch is included with registration.
The consortia sessions will cover:
- Teaching Undergraduate and Graduate Courses
- Surviving and Thriving Through the Promotion and Tenure Process and Managing Marketability
- Research and Pipeline Tips & Tricks
Additionally, participants will attend a “bootcamp” led by the associate editors of the Journal of Applied Psychology to learn how to effectively respond to reviewers.
